Little SBR had quite the busy weekend accomplishing 4 milestones!

Not only did he finally conquer the foot-in-mouth quest he'd been on for nearly a month & a half...    

He can also put his paci back in his mouth after ripping it out! 

Wait!  there's more-

While sitting between my legs, the prodigal child leaned over to go for his tootsies. (if you could, you would chew on them too!) Then, he pppuuullledd himself up, wobbled a little & fell over.  Just another step closer to sitting up!

Today our precious, SBR had his 4 month wellness check and immunizations. 

Our little boy isn't so... little.  he's in the 90% for weight, 95% for height & 75% for head. (and off the charts in cuteness & genius!)

He's weighing in at 17.5 lbs much lower than I thought  
and 26.5" long much taller than I thought, really though, what do I know?  I know he's the sweetest chubby baby I have ever seen!

The BiG immunization debate....  oy vey, what to do?  Do we do them all?  Do we separate some?  Is getting 4 at one time too many for such a little baby body?  There are some compelling arguments out there.  There are even more advocates that scare the beegeezes out of you.  

After many hours, days and nights of mulling this over in my head, several google consults and an obnoxious amount of prayer, We let our heart make the decision.  Ultimately it's not in our hands, it's not in the needles...

Thanks to all who've listened to me go back & forth & back again & for all your prayers.  

See in you 2 months for the 6 mos round!  just kidding... sort of.

Oh!  & the babe!  he did great, vaccines schmaccines.... your big needles don't phaaaaaase him.

Let sleeping babes lie

Last night SBR slept the whole night through!  8:30p to 6:30a.  

Many people asked me today: "Did you wake up freaking out & have to run & check on the baby??"

Um?.... No.  No, I did not.  I also slept the entire. night. through.  

Here's to hoping we get another night full of ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz

Other accomplishments this weekend:  

-bounces or jumps when you hold him under his arms 

-he pulled his legs up under himself when lying on his belly.  (sort of in the crawl position)

He LOVES lying on his belly! I tell him as long as he makes room for breathing, we're good!

Friday night:  dinner at Nana & Papa's

Saturday:  candle party where SBR will be the big entertainment, as usual.  Then maybe to the bookstore, I don't know if we'll have time.

Sunday:  morning filled w/ woo'ing the ladies at church (him, not us!)  then to watch the game w/ Fitzsimmons
